Coffee is one of my favorite things in the world. I’m the cliche that you don’t want to talk to before I’ve had a cup of coffee. I’m the person that is so addicted to coffee I’ll get a migraine if I don’t have at least half a cup a day. If you know me, you know I love coffee and live on coffee. It’s not even just the caffeine, I love the taste. I love the warmth of the cup in my hands. I love enjoying a cup as I start my day.. and often a second one when that doesn’t do the trick lol.

This is a simple latte that I make when I have a few extra minutes and don’t just dump creamer into a to go mug and run.

Add 2-3 tablespoons of ground coffee to your coffee maker. I use a Ninja Coffee Bar machine. I am able to set it to 1 cup, travel mug size, half a pot and a full pot. I can also choose a brew type.

For this one, I select one cup and rich brew.

Take a frother (always able to find these for 5-10 dollars at at TJ Maxx or Marshall’s) and put 1 tablespoon of honey inside. This should cover the bottom of the inside.

Then add 1/2 cup of your favorite milk. I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk because it digests better than normal milk for me and it has added calcium.

You’ll be filling it about half way.

Then take this without the lid and microwave for 30-60 seconds to warm.

Remove from microwave carefully. It will be warm. I usually do 30 seconds at a time. Stir the honey into the milk and put the lid on.

Froth for about 30 seconds until you see bubbles like in the above picture forming on the top layer.

Add to your coffee cup and stir.

And there you go! We’re talking about a coffee shop latte at home that saves money and time. You probably already have all these ingredients at home. Take that money you spend on your coffee shop coffees and start saving for something you really want!!

Love,

Kyle
